‘A Lot Of Progress Has Been Made’ After Trump And Jong-Un Met
US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un have met in Singapore for the very first time in the history.
In a summit being held in Singapore today, the two leaders attended the conference aimed at the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.
In a photo which has been shared by thousands of netizens (and even made memes about it!), two were seen posing for a handshake, smiling cautiously.
Sitting US president said that “a lot of progress has been made” as they sign a document which is still unknown for the press.
He described the document as “pretty comprehensive” and the denuclearization will start very quickly.
“This is going to lead to more and more and more,” he said, noting that he had formed a special bond with the Korean leader.
“The world will see a major change. I would like to express my gratitude to President Trump to make this meeting happen,” Jong-Un said.
