Another Devastating Disaster Hits Indonesia, This Time Volcanic Eruption

Just a few days after a strong earthquake and tsunami hit Sulawesi, Indonesia, a volcano in the same place has erupted, forcing many people to leave the area.

According to the local authorities, the volcano - Mt. Soputan - may flow lava and spit ash clouds that can affect air travel.

The eruption spewed ash 19,700 feet into the sky.

Locals near the area were ordered to leave the place.

A local vulcanologist has said in a report that the sudden eruption may be affected by the earthquake that killed almost 1,400 people.
