Dubai Metro Extends Timings During Eid Holidays

With so many upcoming activities during Eid Holidays – midnight sale to name one – Dubai’s metro and tram extended their operating hours.


Eid Holidays is projected to start on Thursday, June 14.

Metro will be operating until 2 a.m while tram will accept passengers until 1 a.m from Thursday to Monday.


Dubai is also offering every motorist in the UAE free parking across the Emirate from June 14.


Paid parking will be reintroduced on the fourth of Shawwal, which isn’t announced yet but predicted to be on Monday, June 18.


All customer happiness centers will also be closed from Thursday until the third of Shawwal.


RTA’s outsourced vehicle testing and registration centers will be open on different days.


Tasjeel, Enoc, Shamil and Emarat will also reopen on the 4th of Shawwal along with RTA’s happiness centers.


Tamam Al Ghandi, Cars, Wasel Belhasa, Speedfit, Al Mumayaz, Sherawi, Quick and Autopal centers will open a day early.


Main bus stations including Gold Souq Station will open from 5:14 a.m to 12:50 a.m while Al Ghubaiba Station will open from 4:46 a.m to 12:33 a.m.


Satwa Station, meanwhile, will operate from 5 a.m to 11:59 p.m except for Route C01, which will be routing around-the-clock.


Al Qusais Bus Station will remain open from 5 a.m to 12 midnight.


Al Qouz Industrial Station is open from 6 a.m to 11 p.m.


Meanwhile, Jebel Ali Station is open from 5 a.m to 11 p.m.


Buses from Al Ghubaiba going to Sharjah will operate 24/7, while buses from Abu Dhabi will operate between 4:40 a.m to 1:05 a.m.


The timings for marine services of RTA will remain unchanged.
