Pakistani Photographer Waited 7 Years To Capture A Lightning Hitting World’s Tallest Building

A Pakistani photographer has recently revealed that he had waited for seven years to capture his best shot – a bolt of lightning hitting Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world.

The photo has been taken by Zohaib Anjum under a fly-over near Dubai’s Ras Al Khor Sanctuary.

“I used to come here often to capture the shot but there was always some problem. Sometimes the lightning would fall on one side of the tower and sometimes on the other side,” Zohaid said in a thenational.ae report, adding that lightning would never hit Burj Khalifa.

The real estate photographer has spent seven years to take this marvelous photo:

Last Friday, during a terrible weather condition, he packed his bag after an app alerted him that there will be a massive storm.

“So, I had already checked the direction of the storm. Basically, it was coming from the coastal area, from behind Burj Khalifa. I knew the storm would pass over the Dubai skyline. Immediately after I captured the shot, I bowed on the ground, thanking God,” he said.
