Fishermen In UAE Don’t Want To Fish Because Of The Summer Heat

Some fishermen in the capital don’t want to fish because of the summer heat.

The effect?

Prices of fish has increased by almost 100 percent in Abu Dhabi.

While no one can control the prices, no one can also blame if the fishermen opted not to fish with the current situation in the country.

Aside from the fact they don’t want to work directly under the sun, fishes have also dived deeper into cooler waters.

Current prices of fish in the Capital according to Khaleej Times:

Hammour – From AED 30 to 35 – Now AED 60 to 65

King fish – From AED 30 – Now AED 50

Sheri – From AED 15 to 20 – Now AED 45

Sardines – From AED 15 – Now AED 30

The prices above are compared from last month to the current one.
