Hand Sanitizer Dispensers In Dubai Are Running Our Of Stock As Many Companies Buy Them In Bulk

As coronavirus spread globally, a local news outlet in the UAE has reported a shortage of hand sanitizer dispensers in Dubai.

Hand sanitizers are used as a precautionary measure to fight novel coronavirus. Gulf News reported that some popular brands of wall-mounted hand sanitizer dispensers and their refill packets are running out of stock as private companies, banks, schools and government officers have started to install these dispensers and filling up sanitizers in an effort to prevent coronavirus.

"It used to take about three months for a container of sanitizer dispensers to be sold off. Now, it is happening in just two weeks as people are making bulk purchases. Earlier, companies used to keep the automatic dispensers in some specific areas only. Now, they are mostly kept in the lobby, common passageways and where there are more people's movement," a sales executive with Hygiene Cleaning Products was quoted as saying by Gulf News.
