Here’s How You Can Donate for Philippine’s Taal Evacuees If You’re Living in UAE
The Philippine government in Dubai is asking the residents to help their fellow Kabayans who are affected by the eruption of Taal Volcano and currently residing in evacuation centres and who have temporarily lost their livelihoods.
As per the latest report, there are some 15,000 evacuees from Batangas being accommodated in evacuation centres in the province of Cavite: in the town of Alfonso and the cities of Tagaytay and Dasmarinas.
To help these residents to survive while the volcano is still spewing ashes, the Philippine government agencies in Dubai have asked residents to donate at least used clothes, face masks (preferably N95), hygiene products, blankets, first aid, instant food, toothpaste/toothbrush and sanitary napkins for women through ‘Tulong Para Sa Taal’ initiative.
You may drop your donations on Saturday, January 18 at the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in Al Qusais from 8am-12pm.
