Istanbul Plane With 177 Passengers Skids Off A Runway And SPLITS Into Half
A passenger plane with 177 passengers on board has skidded off on a runway in Istanbul, Turkey due to rough weather.
No deaths have been reported but injured toll now rises to 112.
The aircraft, operated by Turkish low-cost carrier Pegasus Airlines, had flown into Istanbul's Sabiha Gokcen airport from the Aegean city of Izmir in a very wet weather.
In a series of photos shown on NTV, images of badly damaged plane and a fire inside can be seen.
Turkish TV showed several passengers climbing through a large crack in the plane and escaping on one of the wings at the rear of the aircraft.
It was reported by TRT that the aircraft had 177 passengers on board and believed to have six crew members.
