Italy Reports Second Day Successive Drop In Virus Deaths
For two consecutive days, Italy has seen its daily fatalities come down from a world record 793 on Saturday to 651 on Sunday and 601 on Monday.
The Mideterranean country has the most number of deaths in the world.
Currently, there are 53,578 patients afflicted with Covid-19.
The total number of fatalities in the northern Lombardy regions around Milan surpassed 3,000. It accounts for nearly two-thirds of Italy's fatalities.
