When you’re starving, work can be affected. Now that it’s Ramadan, keeping energized throughout the day may be difficult thus affecting your day and work.

While other employers allow their employees to eat in a certain place, others try to be respectful of the tradition and fast.

Below is the list of food to eat for breakfast to stay energized all throughout your fast.


Everyone knows that eggs contain high protein not to mention the white which is rich sources of selenium, vitamin D, B6, B12 and minerals such as zinc, iron and copper.


Avocados are very rich in fibre. Fibres contribute to weight loss and also reduce blood sugar spikes. This nutritious fruit can also keep one from getting hungry for long.


A serving of beans, lentils, chickpeas or even peanuts delivers the right feel-full combo of lean protein, complex carbs and good fats. This trio can also keep blood sugar and a stable blood sugar means getting a full feeling.


Getting hydrated when fasting is very important. Before going to the office, make sure to get the exact amount of water for your body. Water, most of the time, curbs hunger.


Yoghurt is packed with protein and a typical six ounce is about the same as in a piece of lean meat. Any protein-rich food keeps one full for a long period.


A new study abroad showed that if a person eats low-calorie chicken and rice soup as a morning snack, he will eat 100 fewer calories at lunch. Soups have high water content and warm water can curb one’s appetite according to dietitians.
