Major Chinese Media Outlets Praise Leaders Of UAE For Supporting Them Amid Coronavirus Outbreak
UAE's full support to China's fight against coronavirus has been praised by Chinese and its major news outlet.
In recent days, UAE has lit up the tallest building in UAE with the message 'stay strong Wuhan', the city in China with the most case of coronavirus.
Other important landmarks in the Emirate have also joined to support China amid the virus outbreak such as a building in Al Seef.
Xinhua, China's official news agency, published several photos of UAE structures with headline 'UAE landmark fuel China's fight against the epidemic.'
The news agency wrote that the buildings were lit up with slogans in part to cheer China up in its fight against the novel coronavirus.
ADNOC's HQ was emblazoned with slogans in Chinese that read 'Wuhan, come on.'
China's People Daily, the largest circulated newspaper in China, published a story with a title 'All sectors of the UAE fully support China's fight against new coronavirus epidemic.'
The paper highlighted Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed's tweet on January 26, in which he said. 'We're closely following the Chinese government's efforts to contain the spread of the coronavirus. We are confident in their ability to overcome this crisis. The UAE is ready to provide all support to China and cooperate with the international community to tackle this virus.'
CCTV, China Central TV, also published a series of photos of building in the UAE illuminated with China's flag.
