PH Official Apologizes To UAE For Creating Panic And For Saying That The Pinay Servant Died Of nCov
A top official of the Philippine government has already apologized to the UAE for creating panic among the public and for saying that the Filipina housemaid who died in the UAE was a coronavirus victim.
The Ministry of Health in the UAE clarified that the Filipina succumbed to pneumonia.
The Dubai Media Office released a statement right after Philippine Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III made the wrong statement, saying that the cause of death of the 58-year-old Filipina was pneumonia and she was tested negative for novel coronavirus.
Through the official Facebook account of the Philippines' Department of Labor and Employment, Bello apologizes to the government of Dubai for the confusion and whatever anxiety that the announcement may have caused.
