The AED800 million worth road project to link Jumeirah and Al Khail is 86% complete
A major road project in Dubai to connect two of the most congested areas in the Emirate and is worth AED 800 million is 86% complete.
By the end of the fourth quarter this year, motorists will be able to cross on the road that links Jumeirah and Al Khail.
The road project is part of the first contract of the improvement of Latifah bint Hamdan and Umm Al Sheef Streets Project.
Mattar Al Tayer, director general and chairman of the board of executive directors of Roads and Transport Authority, said that the project is undertaken in response to the directives of the Dubai Ruler to carry on with the construction of roads and transportation projects to cope with the upswing & demographic expansion of Dubai and the drive to bring happiness to people.
