This UAE Male Pageant Is Looking For A Pia Wurtzbach Counterpart
A Philippine pageant that hopes to produce the male counterpart of a Pia Wurtzbach in a global stage has reached Dubai.
Organizers of Man of the Philippines are bringing the pageant to the emirate to find the face of Man of the Philippines-Dubai.
The Dubai winner will represent the Filipino community in the emirate to compete in the national pageant in Manila on December 1.
The Dubai pageant is being held in association with Expat Media, Kiwanis and Eventologist Dubai.
The stage is now open for single Filipinos in the UAE who are between the ages 20 to 30 and are at least 5 feet 8 inches in height. Screenings will be held on July 13 and 27.
Finalists will compete in a pre-pageant competition on September 14, before taking the catwalk for the September 28 finals.
The winner will then be flown in an all-expense paid trip to Manila for the national pageant on December 1 where 60 candidates from around the Philippines will be competing for the international titles National Universe, Man International and Man of the Universe, as well as four national titles.
Cash prizes total Php200,000, with Asia tours for two international title holders and a US tour for the grand title holder. The winning candidates’ charity of choice or advocacies will also be funded.
