UAE Gives Long-Term Visa To Expats, Giving Them More Reasons To Stay In The Country
UAE is welcoming 2019 with a bang.
Outstanding students and retirees, especially, have more reason to cheer.
It has been approved last year by the UAE Cabinet that retiring expats are allowed to stay in the country if they reach a certain criterion.
Those 55-year-old and above may now secure a five-year retirement visa if they have a property worth at least Dh2-million, or at least Dh1-million in savings, or an active income of more than Dh20,000 per month.
Meanwhile, researches working in the disciplines of science and knowledge, as well as doctors, specialists and inventors will be granted ten-year visas, along with those working in the fields of culture and art.
