UAE Has Started To Thermal Screen Passengers Arriving On Direct Flights From China
Both Dubai and Abu Dhabi International airports have decided to conduct thermal screening measures on passengers arriving from China after deadly coronavirus killed 17 people in Wuhan.
In a statement last night, Dubai Airports said that all passengers arriving on direct flights from the People’s Republic of China must receive thermal screening at the gate upon arrival and be provided with informational leaflets.
The screening, it added, is happened on secured, closed gates at the airport by Dubai Health Authority and its Airport Medical Centre Team.
In a separate statement, Abu Dhabi International Airports said that it started a screening process for passengers arriving from China in an effort to ensure the health and safety of all travelers.
They also shared some preventive tips for those traveling to China.
