WEB IS DOWN: Philippine Consulate Advises Filipinos Getting Passports

Several websites of Philippine missions are currently down due to a server hardware failure.

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) said that more than 100 websites were affected when a six-year-old server that runs the websites malfunctioned.

The list of websites that were affected include Dubai and Abu Dhabi’s.

Philippine Consul General Paul Raymund Cortes posted an advisory over his official Facebook page regarding getting Philippine passports.

“Those inquiring on the availability of their passports, please email your FULL/Complete name to: epassportpcgdubai@pcgdubai.ae.

Last week, the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai and the Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi have released a statement regarding getting passport appointment and overseas employment certificate (OEC).
